Kellogg's Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat Cereal |
| The Cat in the Hat, along with the Fish in Teapot, appeared on boxes of cereal promoting the Universal Studios/DreamWorks movie staring Mike Myers. Kellogg's released a limited edition "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat" cereal in late October 2003. It is a "sweetened, fruit-flavored corn and oat cereal" which looks like crunchy miniature puffed hats with red stripes (like those worn by The Cat). The Cat in the Hat also appeared on varieties of Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, and Frosted Flakes. |

| Kellogg's Disney-Pixar Finding Nemo Cereal | |
| Nemo (a Clownfish), Dory (a Blue Tang), and Squirt (a baby Sea Turtle) from the 2003 Disney-Pixar release "Finding Nemo" found their way onto their own cereal box in 2004. The cereal is described as "Naturally sweetened toasted oat cereal with marshmallow bits shaped like Nemo and friends". In 2005, a new box was released featuring the addition of Squirt's father, Crush. These are both very attractive boxes. | |

The cereal is self-described as "naturally sweetened chocolate pearl-shaped cereal with pirate-shaped marshmallows" --- basically cornmeal Cocoa Puffs with marbits in the shape of a dagger, treasure map, ships wheel, captain's hat, and a compass that doesn't point North. It is a repackaging of the Pirates of the Caribbean cereal which was released last year in advance of the July 2006 sequel "Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest". The cereal is self-described as "naturally sweetened chocolate pearl-shaped cereal with pirate-shaped marshmallows" --- basically oversized cornmeal Cocoa Puffs with marbits in the shape of a dagger, treasure map, ships wheel, and skull. |
