Winnie-the-Pooh walked over to Piglet's house and found a note on his door which read: "GON TO POOH'S HOUS. SIGND, PIGLIT (ME)". So off to his own house he went. When he arrived at his house he saw Piglet trying to reach the door knocker. "Let me help you Piglet," said Pooh as he reached for the door knocker and banged it twice. There was no answer. He tried it again, only this time he banged three times in case two just wasn't enough. "There doesn't seem to be anybody at home, Piglet." "But Pooh, this is your house," exclaimed Piglet. "So it is!" said Pooh, and they went inside. "What can I do for you Piglet?" "I came to see if you wanted to hunt for Heffalumps or Woozles today," explained Piglet. "Both, I think," said Pooh, "because you never know which you are going to find, and if you find the one you weren't looking for, then you've found the wrong one." "Oh," said Piglet. "But I can't look for either today," said Pooh, "because I'm looking for Eeyore's tail." "What happens if you find a Heffalump or Woozle instead?" asked Piglet. "It is more likely," said Pooh, "that they shall find me since I am not looking for them." Piglet's eye's got really big. "And what shall you do if they find you?" asked Piglet. "I shall ask them if they've seen Eeyore's tail," replied Pooh. "Piglet, have you seen Eeyore's tail?" "No, Pooh, I haven't," answered Piglet. "What's that thing in your hand?" asked Pooh. "This is the rope I was going to use to lead a Heffalump home if I... I mean... if WE found one," explained Piglet. "What would you like to do, Pooh?" | |
