Winnie-the-Pooh left the river and followed a path through the Woods in search of Tigger. It wasn't long before something sprung from behind some bushes and leveled Pooh flat on his back. "Helloooooooo Pooh," said Tigger. "Hallo Tigger," Pooh said. "I was just looking for you." "Of course you were, Pooh ol' buddy," exclaimed Tigger. "Betcha you were looking for me and Roo here. We're off to play Poohsticks, and we're having a pic-a-nic!" "I wasn't looking for Roo. Just you Tigger," replied Pooh, still supporting Tigger on his chest. "I don't see Roo." "That's because you weren't looking for him," said Tigger. "He's right over... no, he's right... say, where did the little fella go?" "Tigger, have you seen Eeyore's tail?" asked Pooh. "Should I have?" replied Tigger. "I thought perhaps you might have bounced it off of him," explained Pooh. "I didn't bounce anybody," Tigger replied. "You just bounced me," said Pooh sternly. "So I did!" replied Tigger. "Well, I best be going. I've got get back to Roo. Oh, yeah, I left him at the Bridge while I went looking for a good fir cone. T-T-F-N. Ta ta for now!" Tigger got off of Pooh and went looking for fir cones suitable for challenging Roo. Winnie-the-Pooh got up and considered his next visit. "Shall I stop and visit with Rabbit, or ask Piglet for help," he thought to himself. | |
