Topher's Breakfast Cereal Character Guide was featured in Beth Ann Wilt's "Wacky Website RevieW" for the week of March 20, 2000.
This week's website features some great pop culture icons from the past few decades. Do you remember who first appeared on the Cocoa Puffs cereal box? How about Rice Krispies or Count Chocula? Do you remember Nerds cereal or Smurf Berry Crunch? Luckily, there is a great site out there that is preserving all of our favorite breakfast icons. It is called Topher's Breakfast Cereal Character Guide and includes photos and bios of all your favorite cereal icons. Do you remember who Rocky and Bullwinkle advertised for or how many different Sugar Smacks characters there have been throughout the years? I bet you didn't know that Tony the Tiger had an entire family of cereals, including Kellog's Frosted Rice featuring Tony Jr. Topher's site lists cereal known to man, including ficticious cereals used in television shows and movies. This website will definitely take you back in time to when you were munching with Fred and Barney or digging through that box of Lucky Charms for your prize decoder ring. There is even a link on the site to vote for your favorite breakfast cereal character. So, what are you waiting for? Check out the cereal boxes of yesteryear, but don't forget to come back to Cultureshark when you are done! |
