Sunny (1966) is a sun with a bright happy face, and is responsible for turning grapes into raisins. Sunny sometimes wore sunglasses or a nightcap. "Two scoops" of raisins go in every box.

Mr. Spock, half-human / half-Vulcan was the First Officer / Science Officer, for the Starship Enterprise, was a logical choice as a temporary spokesman.

Whoo, The Wizard Of Oatz (1960-1961) appeared for Kellogg's All-Stars. He was the wizard who makes the holes in the middle of this "toasted oat cereal with the hole in the middle and the sugar on top". "You buy the stars --- the holes are free!"

In 1968, a green kangaroo represented Riceroos (bite sized shredded rice cereal which looks like Rice Chex), and a yellow kangaroo represented Corneroos (bite sized shredded corn cereal which looks like Corn Chex). These cereals were also available in Canada.

Kellogg's Honey and Nut Cornflakes
Honey Nut Crow (1979-1981). This image was taken from an stamped metal spoon. His beak feet are dark yellow. His head, hands and tail are orange. He wears blue jeans with cuffs rolled up, a light blue and white stripped shirt, and a white-dotted green bandana around his neck. Honey and Nut Cornflakes later became Nut and Honey Crunch.

The Sweetheart of the Corn (1907 into the 1920's, and again from 1940 to 1946) is a female figure holding a shock of corn.

A cattleman named Joe (1985-1986) was the OJ's orange rancher. He corralled and branded oranges ("OJ") for this round Fruit-Loop-like orange cereal which was flavored with 10% real orange juice.

Big Yella (1977 to 1981) was a blond-haired cowboy with a big yellow cowboy hat. The "Big Yella Society", organized in 1999, is working to get Big Yella back on boxes of Kellogg's Corn Pops.

Kellogg's Frosted Flakes
Dick Dastardly (bad guy squadron leader) and his companion Muttley, from the Wacky Racer's cartoon Dastardly and Muttley show, promoted 3 cereals from 1969 to 1971. Along with the rest of their crew, they unsuccessfully attempted to intercept a carrier pigeon (lower right) who was always carrying some strategic military information or something in his bag. ["Stop that pigeon...NOW!"]

Bixby Beaver (1978-1979) was a big fan of baseball. Crunchy Loggs was a strawberry flavored "ready-sweetened corn and oat cereal".
